Micah

Micah 5:2 (HCSB) Bethlehem Ephrathah, you are small among the clans of Judah; One will come from you to be ruler over Israel for Me. His origin is from antiquity, from eternity.

The Messiah will come from Bethlehem. Bethlehem, the smallest, will bring forth the Savior. Isn’t it good to know that in God’s economy the very small can be very big. Many times we may not see the value in the small things that we do for the kingdom, but God does.

Think over this last year and think about the things you have done to serve God’s kingdom. Don’t just think big, but think small as well.

Perhaps there are things you haven’t even thought - such as a smile to someone who had a bad day, or a verbal witness to someone who you thought was not listening.

God is using you for His glory like he used Bethlehem.

Pray: “Thank you God for using us, though our efforts may appear small, for You Glory! Amen.”

Sing “Oh Little Town of Bethlehem”
